Welcome to Bare Beauty by June. I am a DFW based hair and makeup artist whose passion is to enhance the natural beauty of all the women I encounter. My main focus is wedding and event artistry, but I also offer other services. I firmly believe that God gave us all beautiful features, my job is to point those out to you and make you feel like the artwork that you are. Keep scrolling to see some of my work :)

About Me

Hi. My name is June Barker.

I was born and raised in Texas, and graduated from Dallas Baptist University in August of 2015. I am married to the most incredible man, and we had the most magical wedding. (So I get how crazy being a bride is!) In the spring of 2012 I was asked to help work a benefit fashion show as a model "dresser" (I do not know the exact way to word that), during the night I wandered around the corner to where the hair and makeup artists where. I felt drawn to the idea of what they were doing. They were using their gifts to allow women to feel beautiful, to inspire others, and to ultimate glorify the Lord. From there I was accepted into an internship with a fashion production company that also doubled as a ministry to the companies in the DFW area. I dove straight in learning this art and practicing. Since then I have worked more weddings than I could hope for, and have been certified as a makeup artist. I love the people I meet, and use this work as a way to share the love of Jesus and allow women to feel their absolute best on some of the biggest days of their lives. My FAvorite things:

1. Finding new ways to learn about and glorify Jesus in everything I do.
2. My sweet hubby and family.
3. Literally ANY kind of dog.
4. Blueberry pop-tarts and lavender lattes.
5. And of course all things makeup related.
